Here we’ll introduce the item and equipment system in Fantastic Boyfriends: Legends of Midearth (hereafter Fantastic Boyfriends).

You’ll receive new items, weapons, armor, and other equipment depending on the choices you make and battles you complete in quests.

These have three different possible effects:

１・Characters level up!

Characters who can equip the weapons and armor you’ve obtained will level up, which increases their HP and MP, as well as stats like strength and speed.
(You can check your current status by touching the MENU button in the upper right corner of the screen)

With new equipment, you can beat monsters that were too difficult before, or go to locations that were previously inaccessible.
In Fantastic Boyfriends, you don’t need to keep repeating the same battles in order to gain enough experience to level up.

２・Unlock new quests?

As you gain more items and equipment, new quests will unlock to play.
Collect lots of items and venture into the unknown!

３・Change your characters’ outfits!

When you obtain new items, you can return to the Adventurer’s Tavern after clearing a quest to change the equipment your party is wearing.

In Fantastic Boyfriends, your equipment does not affect your stats (you’ll gain their effects just from obtaining them), so you’re free to select your favorite outfit!
